Job Overview
The Solutions Consultant plays a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless implementation, adoption, and optimization of business solutions. This dynamic position requires expertise in training, change management, and quality assurance to support business areas through transformation initiatives. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, collaborative, and driven to deliver high-quality solutions that meet organizational objectives.

Key Responsibilities
1. Training & Readiness

Design and deliver staff training programs tailored to new methods and solutions.
Ensure business areas are adequately prepared for change implementation.
2. Support Materials Development

Create user-friendly resources such as easy aid guides, FAQs, infographics, and other adoption-support materials.
Ensure all materials align with business needs and promote seamless solution adoption.
3. Change Management

Participate in change impact analysis and the development of actionable change management plans.
Support stakeholders in achieving smooth transitions during solution implementation.
4. Testing & Quality Assurance

Facilitate User Acceptance Testing (UAT), System Integration Testing (SIT), and other testing stages (Alpha, Beta).
Monitor and track testing outcomes to ensure production releases are defect-free, targeting no more than five defects.
5. Business Continuity

Develop and update continuity plans to mitigate potential disruptions during scaling.
Ensure readiness for unforeseen challenges that could impact operations.
6. Feedback & Optimization

Collect and analyze user feedback post-deployment.
Revise change plans and recommend process simplifications, standardizations, and optimizations to enhance user experience.
7. Incident Management

Manage pre-go-live incidents and facilitate root cause analyses.
Provide production issue feedback to relevant stakeholders to ensure timely resolution.
8. Post-Deployment Monitoring

Monitor solution adoption and report on benefits realized.
Track adoption rates, aiming for a minimum of 90% adoption within three months post-deployment.

Experience

3 - 4 years in banking, operational processes, or financial services with a focus on solution design and delivery.
Familiarity with SAFE methodologies, IT systems, and change management processes.
Proven experience in customer-focused demand management and adoption support for new systems and processes.
5+ years of experience in a consulting, business analysis, or change management role.
Proven track record of successful solution deployments and change management initiatives.
Familiarity with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, or other testing/tracking systems.

Qualification

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Matric / Grade 12 equivalent certificate.
