Job Description
We are seeking a highly experienced Business Solutions & Practice Lead with a strong background in the financial services or banking sector. This role will lead a team of business analysts while managing the Business Analysis Centre of Excellence. The successful candidate will be instrumental in driving high-quality business analysis standards, guiding solution design efforts, and ensuring effective delivery of projects through strong stakeholder engagement and team leadership.
Experience
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Deep understanding of business analysis tools, techniques, and documentation.
Excellent stakeholder engagement, facilitation, and interpersonal skills.
Strong analytical, conceptual thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
Proficient in Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid delivery environments.
High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Ability to oversee Business Analaysis contributions across multiple projects and ensure alignment to strategic goals.
Strong Competency in translating business needs into functional and non-functional requirements for IT solutions.
Qualification
Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, or related field (Honours or Postgraduate preferred).
8+ years' experience as a Business Analyst, with at least 3 years in a leadership or senior role.
Proven track record in financial services or banking, with strong domain knowledge of products, services, and regulatory environment.
Extensive experience with business analysis artefacts, frameworks, and tools (BABOK, BPMN, Agile, etc.).
Demonstrated experience in solution design and delivery in complex project environments.
CBAP / CCBA or equivalent Business Analysis certifications. (Advantageous)
Agile Certification
Project Management certification (e.g. PMP, Prince2) (Advantageous)
