Job Description

The Moderator will be responsible for moderating learner assessments and ensuring that assessment practices are fair, valid, reliable, and aligned with the standards and requirements of MICT SETA, QCTO, and internal quality management systems.

Experience

Minimum 3–5 years’ experience within accredited education and training environments.
Strong knowledge of assessment and moderation principles.
Understanding of QCTO, SAQA, and SETA compliance requirements.
Experience moderating portfolios of evidence and learner assessments.
Strong administrative and reporting capability.
Computer literacy and experience using digital learning platforms.
Experience moderating ICT, digital literacy, entrepreneurship, or end-user computing programmes.
Familiarity with online moderation methodologies and e-learning environments.

Qualification

Must have completed Matric/ Grade 12
Relevant qualification aligned to the specific skills programme being moderated.
Registered constituent Moderator with MICT SETA.
Valid Moderator Certificate.
